Richard Milner joins Quercus

Quercus has appointed Richard Milner as publishing director for non fiction and will join the company on 23rd November.
Milner has worked in the publishing trade for over 15 years, he was most recently non fiction publisher at Pan Macmillan. He has also previously worked at Picador and Weidenfeld & Nicolson.
Mark Smith, chief executive said: "I’m delighted that Richard is joining the team here at Quercus and I’m looking forward to working with him again. The non fiction market has been going through huge change over the last few years and I am pleased that we will have the benefit of Richard’s experience and commercial acumen as we tackle these challenges."
Milner said: "I am hugely excited about joining Quercus and being part of the next stage in its growth as a dynamic and successful independent publishing house."
