RHCP to publish Woolly and Tig titles
30.01.13 | Charlotte Williams
Random House Children's Publishers will be publishing pre-school books around the CBeebies series "Woolly and Tig", partnering with the show's producers, Tattiemoon.
RHCP has acquired an exclusive three-year publishing deal for world English language rights excluding the USA in the titles, covering both print and digital formats.
RHCP will publish the first books this summer, with an ongoing publishing programme planned across picture books, sticker, activity, novelty and e-book formats. The first book will be a picture book and sticker activity title this July, with a second picture book and lift-the-flap novelty title in October.
The second series of "Woolly and Tig", which features Tig and her cuddly toy spider Woolly as they explore new experiences, will air this spring.
RHCP publisher colour and licensing Fiona Macmillan said: "We're so excited to be working with Books With Influence and Tattiemoon to extend the world of Woolly and Tig into publishing.
"The show has captured the imagination of pre-school children everywhere, and we're developing a range of publishing that enables readers to have fun with Woolly, while exploring their feelings around new situations and experiences."
