Random House US is expanding the generic promotional campaign which it launched last year to highlight books as perfect Christmas presents.
This year's Books=Gifts campaign features a redesigned logo, which, as before, does not include any Random House-specific branding and which will be available free of charge to all book publishers and retailers.
The new campaign will also offer a free online "personal shopper" service with recommendations for books from Random House imprints given via Twitter and email. A Facebook "What's My Type of Book?" quiz application will also be available, as will "Personal Shopper Kits" for booksellers which promote their handselling service with in-store signage and badges for staff.
