Julie Randles is leaving Scholastic UK after nearly eight years at the company.
Randles' is the latest move in a number of recent staff changes at the publisher.
Randles ran the Scholastic Book Clubs for the past five years, will be leaving the company on Monday. During her time at the children's publisher she built partnerships with organisations such as Comic Relief, Children in Need and Readathon, and developed the company's direct to consumer channel.
Scholastic co-group m.d. Catherine Bell said: "Julie has played a key role at Scholastic building our Book Club business and championing our passion for getting children reading. All her friends and colleagues will miss her energy and commitment and she leaves with our very best wishes."
News of Randles' departure follows that earlier today of publishing and commerical director Lisa Edwards, who will be joining the Carlton Publishing Group as adult publisher; fiction editorial director Clare Argar, who will be pursuing other opportunities, and Alice Swan, who is joining Faber Children's as commissioning editor.
Consumer, marketing and communications director Alyx Price moved in March to Macmillan Children's Books to cover the role of communications director while Katharine Smales is on maternity leave, while publicity officer Catherine Alport joined Macmillan Children's Books as publicity manager on 11th February.
Scholastic UK has declined to comment further on the moves at this time.
