Publishers scour the blogosphere

The rapid growth of internet blogs being converted into books has prompted traditional publishers to scour the internet in the hope of uncovering the next bestselling author, reports the Sunday Herald.

While the majority used to turn to self-publishing sites to make the jump, traditional publishers including Canongate, Penguin and Harper Collins are moving quickly to get in on the act.
