Preface signs Tony Kitous
01.01.70 | Katie Allen
Preface has acquired a cookbook from Tony Kitous, owner and founder of the Comptoir Libanais restaurants, and Dan Lepard, cookbook author and photographer.
Publisher Trevor Dolby bought world rights in the title, Comptoir Libanais: A Feast of Lebanese-Style Home Cooking, with plans to publish in hardback in May 2013.
Kitous' restaurants were the first in London to merge traditional Arabic cooking with easy contemporary eating, according to the publisher, with five Comptoir Libanais restaurants currently in London and eight more planned in the next 18 months due to popularity and demand.
The book will contain 80 recipes, for dishes including simple grills, flat breads, grains, herb salads and dips, as well as pastries and sweet dishes.
