Pluto launches online Christmas campaign
29.11.12 | Benedicte Page
Pluto Press has joined the rush of publishers running pre-Christmas direct-to-consumer promotions online.
The radical publisher is offering 40% off across 20 of its most giftable titles, including books by Noam Chomsky and Laurie Penny and classics such as The Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engels. The promotion is being publicised via Twitter.
It is the first year that the publisher has run a Christmas direct-to-consumer campaign online.
Penguin, Osprey and Bloomsbury are among the publishers which have already started running direct-to-consumer Christmas campaigns from their websites, while Random House has launched microsite www.giftabook.co.uk for a range of gift recommendations.
