Play.com and Amazon UK have grabbed the top spots in a new online retail customer satisfaction survey, which looked at the Christmas period.
The study by ForeSee Results polled 10,500 shoppers in December, looking at the top 30 consumer websites. Customer satisfaction with Play.com rated at 76% for brand, price, merchandise and site experience, with Amazon UK in second place at 75%.
Waterstone's scored 67% and Woolworths 63%, whereas W H Smith rated only 59%.
Larry Freed, president and chief executive officer of ForeSee Results, said: "Those with 60 points or below are failing to satisfy shoppers, eroding loyalty and are missing a tremendous opportunity to leverage the web channel to improve their bottom line."
