Peter James was given the Tess Gerritsen Award for Best Series for his Roy Grace books at the second annual Dead Good Reader Awards 2016, held at the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival in Harrogate. The festival ran from 21st to the 24th July.

 

On Saturday 23rd July, Martina Cole was in conversation with Peter James at the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.

 

Tess Gerritsen was a 'special guest' at the festival.

 

American-born Canadian author Linwood Barclay also appeared at the festival in conversation with Mark Billingham.

 

On Thursday 21st July, Julie-Ann Corrigan launched her debut novel, psychological thriller Falling Suns (Accent Press), at Daunt Books on Fulham Road.

 

Wiley's Melissa Cox spoke at The Bookseller's Buyers Guides party, held on the fifth floor of Waterstones Piccadilly on Thursday 21st July.
