Piccadilly picks up another Alien Schoolboy
09.01.12 | Charlotte Williams
Piccadilly Press has acquired a new title in the Alien Schoolboy series by author Ros Asquith.
Piccadilly Press m.d. Brenda Gardner bought world rights in An Alien Schoolboy's Guide to Earth from Jodie Marsh at United Agents, with plans to publish in autumn 2012.
In the book, which follows on from other titles in the series including Letters From an Alien Schoolboy, main character Flowkwee provides an A-Z guide to life on earth for his friends on planet Faa, covering everything from ants to sweeties.
Gardner said: "We've been delighted with the success of the books; adults and children alike find Ros' stories of Flowkwee extremely funny. An Alien Schoolboy's Guide to Earth will appeal to existing fans and new readers alike."
