PFD appoints Caskie as new agent
18.11.08 | Katie Allen
PFD has appointed Robert Caskie as a new agent, with immediate effect. He brings with him a list of journalists and writers of commercial fiction and non-fiction, including columnist Liz Jones; journalist Julie Burchill; editor-in-chief of Elle magazine Lorraine Candy; and Polly Vernon, deputy editor of Observer Woman magazine and contributing editor for Grazia.
Prior to the move, Caskie was in charge of creating a literary division at MacFarlane Chard Associates. Before that he worked at Capel & Land Ltd, from its conception in June 2000 for six years. Earlier in his career he also worked in New York for three years at the film PR company, PMK.
Caskie grew up in Ireland and read English at Trinity College Dublin.
