Peter Rabbit stories launch as e-books
07.12.10 | Graeme Neill
Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit collection has been launched as e-books for the iBookstore and Kindle.
New Media Age reports all 23 stories have been digitised, with illustrations and text specific for the Apple and Amazon devices. The e-books are £4.99 each.
A spokesperson for Potter's publisher, Penguin owned Frederick Warne, said: "We view e-books as another format and readers should be able to access Beatrix Potter’s works in whatever medium they choose."
According to Penguin, Peterrabbit.com has more than 50,000 unique visitors a month.
