Penguin signs Alexa Chung

Penguin has announced a deal for a first book by British model and TV presenter, Alexa Chung.

A key player in the fashion world, Chung's first book will be released by the Particular Books imprint in September next year.

It will combine her writings, drawings and photographs, giving advice and tips on what to wear, and how she developed her own fashion style.

World rights for the as yet untitled book were bought by Helen Conford, publishing director at Penguin Books, from Paul Stevens at Independent Talent.
