OUP launches mobile roaming for journals
07.06.12 | Benedicte Page
Oxford University Press has launched a roaming service for students and academics who read journals via their mobile phones.
Students and academics can now connect their mobile device to their institution's Oxford Journals subscription and read protected journals content even once they have left the institution's network.
Richard O'Beirne, digital and journals strategy manager at OUP, said: "We've now made it even easier for busy and increasingly mobile academics to keep up with the latest research in their field, whenever and wherever they like."
The service builds on the 2011 launch of a mobile-optimised service across OUP's journal websites which can be accessed from any smartphone.
