Orion publishing director Juliet Ewers has been promoted to the newly created position of group associate publisher.
Reporting to group publisher Jon Wood, in her the new role she will be responsible for "developing and enabling all aspects of Orion’s publishing vision" and "ensuring publishing excellence" across all of the group's imprints.
She will also have a focus on backlist strategy, designing and implementing initiatives throughout the company, and will continue to work directly on key author brands such as Maeve Binchy and Ian Rankin.
Orion publisher Jon Wood said: "Juliet's knowledge, experience, passion and expertise for all aspects of both publishing and for Orion's diverse and successful list equips her brilliantly for this exciting new role. This promotion demonstrates our continuing investment in all-round publishing excellence."
