The only way is Sam for S&S

Simon & Schuster has acquired a memoir by Sam Faiers, star of reality TV series "The Only Way is Essex".

Deputy non-fiction editorial director Carly Cook bought UK and Commonwealth rights, pre-emptively, from Andrew Lownie on behalf of Adam Muddle at Money North, with plans to publish in spring 2012. The book will be written by journalist Emma Donnan, assistant editor at Star magazine.

Faiers is a glamour model and also owns a clothes
shop. She is known for having a fling on the hit ITV reality series with fellow participant
Mark Wright, and for her
relationship with another, Joey Essex.

The book is as yet untitled, but will look at Sam’s childhood, her rise to fame, her friends and relationships, her style, and what it is like to be part of "The Only Way is Essex", which follows Sam and her friends, including James "Arg" Argent and Lauren Goodger.

Cook said: "Simon & Schuster couldn’t be more excited about this book. We are all huge fans of the show, and of Sam’s, and having already had some great meetings, I know that we are going to have a lot of fun publishing a book perfect for every TOWIE fan."
