OMG MJ signs diet book
23.05.12 | Katie Allen
Michael Joseph has acquired Six Weeks to OMG, a dieting title which has already been a self-published e-book bestseller.
Publisher Katy Follain bought British and Commonwealth rights in the title by British sports scientist Venice A Fulton after a "hotly contested auction" from Sarah Ballard at United Agents. Grand Central Publishing in the US won North American rights, while Italian publisher Sperling has pre-empted.
The title, lined up for 5th July, will include exclusive new material and will "[debunk] the myths surrounding nutrition and the way our bodies become fat, in a way that is accessible and fun".
Michael Joseph will publish on 5th July as a tbp. The e-book is already on sale.
