Olly Murs memoir to Hodder
26.06.12 | Charlotte Williams
Hodder & Stoughton is to publish an illustrated memoir by former "X Factor" finalist Olly Murs.
Commissioning editor Charlotte Hardman bought world rights in Happy Days in a deal with Modest! Management. Happy Days will be published in hardback and e-book at £16.99 this autumn.
Hardman said: "I am thrilled to be working on this book with Olly. He has so many stories and he tells them with such warmth and humour . . . the personality he is so loved for will shine through on the page.
"Everyone at Hodder is incredibly excited about publishing Happy Days this autumn and we look forward to replicating his chart success with this book."
Murs reached the "X Factor" final in 2009 and is currently on tour in the US with One Direction. He will be returning for another series as the presenter of "The Xtra Factor" this autumn. He is planning to release a third album following the release of the book later this year.
