Octopus signs 'Made in Chelsea'’s Candy Kittens
22.02.13 | Charlotte Williams
Octopus has acquired a book by "Made in Chelsea" reality star Jamie Laing about his business, sweet shop Candy Kittens.
Octopus commissioning editor Eleanor Maxfiled bought world rights in the title from fellow Candy Kittens founders Ed Williams and Warren Crane.
The book will be published in May under the Mitchell Beazley imprint, and will include 40 recipes and tips on how to party like a Candy Kitten. It will be aimed at the young teenage audience, and will include recipes for Candy Kitten Cake Pops, Sour Watermelon Jelly Jewels and Trillionaries Shortbread. It will also feature interactive videos which can be accessed through an iPhone or Android phone.
