Octopus scoops The Icecreamists title
21.02.12 | Charlotte Williams
Octopus has acquired the first book from boutique ice-cream parlour The Icecreamists, which sells ice creams including Baby Goo Goo, made with breast milk, and with names such as Taking the Pistachio and Under the Cherry Spoon.
Cookery commissioning editor Eleanor Maxfield bought world rights through Jonathan Pegg at the Jonathan Pegg Literary Agency, with plans to publish in June 2012.
According to the publisher, the book will be accompanied by "an attention-grabbing marketing and publicity campaign in true Icecreamists guerilla style", and there will be more than 80 recipes in the book, and photography by Danish photographer Anders Schonnemann.
