Nicholls takes Waterstone's prize

<p><em>Ways To Live Forever</em> (Scholastic) by Sally Nicholls won the Waterstone&#39;s Children&#39;s Book Prize.</p><p>Nicholls, who saw off competition from eight other authors, received the award on Wednesday (13th February). Her win marks Scholastic&#39;s second victory in a row: last year&#39;s winner was <em>Darkside</em> by Tom Becker, also Scholastic.</p><p> Last year&#39;s winner has sold over 12,000 copies to date through Nielsen BookScan, with sales almost doubling to around 1,000 copies in the week following the announcement. </p>
