Kobo’s new e-reading devices, Kobo Mini and Kobo Glo are being rolled out across 100 W H Smith stores today (4th October).
The retailer revealed the new e-reading devices last month, with the price point for the e-ink Mini at £59.99 and the e-Ink Glo at £99.99. The Mini has a five-inch screen, which comes with interchangeable backs in different colours and is “fully customisable”. The Glo has a six-inch illuminated screen for night-time as well as day-time reading.
The new devices will roll out to Kobo’s partner retailers in the UK in due course, including independent booksellers. Phil Wood, UK manager for Kobo, is currently touring the UK showcasing the new devices to interested indies.
