Murray biog to S&S

Simon & Schuster has acquired a biography of US Open tennis champion Andy Murray.

S&S executive director Kerr MacRae and commissioning editor Ian Marshall acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in the title by journalist Mark Hodgkinson from David Luxton at David Luxton Associates.

The title will tell of Murray's rise to success and his relationships with his mother, brother and coaches. MacRae said: "[S&S is] delighted to have been successful in acquiring this fascinating biography, which will be a brilliant and timely addition to our already strong autumn list."

S&S will publish on 8th November 2012 to coincide with the ATP World Tour Finals, held at London's O2.
