Morin new c.o.o. at Ingram

Ingram Content Group has appointed Shawn Morin to the role of chief operating officer, promoted from the position of chief information officer.

Morin, who started working at the distribution company in 2009, will report into chair John R Ingram. He will now be responsible for managing the company's commercial activities, systems and operations.

Ingram said: "As much as we're a distribution business, we're also a technology business . . .  Shawn is well prepared to help me and our leadership team execute the vision of where Ingram Content Group is heading in the next period.”
