More Da Costa erotic romance for Ebury
01.01.70 | Lisa Campbell
Ebury has bought a new erotic romance trilogy by Portia Da Costa, author of In Too Deep.
The Accidental trilogy will follow the love story of Lizzie and John, who meet when he mistakes her for a high class call girl. The Accidental Call Girl will be a Black Lace title in February 2013 (£6.99), followed later in the same year by The Accidental Mistress and The Accidental Bride.
Gillian Green, editorial director for commercial fiction at Ebury and Black Lace, said: "Before E L James and Sylvia Day, Portia was already thrilling legions of women with her hot, sexy, emotionally compelling stories. We're delighted that she¹s finally getting the readership she deserves for her books.
"She is the British queen of erotic romance and her new trilogy is absolutely wonderful—it's a deliciously saucy romantic story for every woman who has ever had a 'Pretty Woman' fantasy."
Green acquired all rights to the trilogy for an undisclosed sum. Ebury will also release The Red Collection, an anthology of Portia Da Costa's shorter Black Lace fiction, in January (£7.99).
