May is Richard and Judy 'top autumn read'
22.12.11 | Charlotte Williams
Quercus title The Blackhouse by Peter May has been voted the top read in the Richard and Judy Autumn Book Club, by readers voting online via the W H Smith website.
May's murder mystery won the vote, with second place going to Everything and Nothing by Araminta Hall (HarperPress) and third position to Dark Matter by Michelle Paver (Orion). May said he was "honoured and humbled".
The Spring Book Club 2012 title selection will be announced in early January.
