Ben Mason is leaving Conville & Walsh after two years with the literary agency to set up on his own.
His agency, Fox Mason, will also be based in Soho. Mason said: "I've loved working with Patrick, Clare, Jake and the team but I'm raring to break out on my own, having started out around the time
Conville & Walsh was formed. With Nadifa Mohamed Orange longlisted and Andrew Stott winning the Sheridan Morley Theatre Biography Prize, it just felt like good timing."
Walsh commented: "As we celebrate our first 10 years as an agency, we're obviously sad to see Ben go, but we're delighted that he and Sylvio [Mason's dog] will be just round the corner, and will always be happy to buy either of them a pint."
From 1st June Mason can be contacted by email at Ben@foxmason.com.
