Lucas to be Literature Prize administrator
01.02.13 | Charlotte Williams
Suzy Lucas is to be prize administrator for the newly established Literature Prize.
Formerly literature consultant to the BFI's Film Fund and before that a scout at Anne-Louise Fisher Associates, Lucas will take up the position on Monday (4th February). Prize founder Andrew Kidd said Lucas' "exceptional experience, enthusiasm and dynamism" had won her the "lynchpin" role. Lucas said: "The opportunity to help establish a new literature prize that celebrates excellence couldn’t excite me more."
Full details of the £40,000 prize, including the sponsor, will be announced in March. The inaugural award will be given in March 2014.
