Kerry Needham memoir to Ebury
23.11.12 | Katie Allen
Ebury Press has acquired the memoir of Kerry Needham, the mother of toddler Ben Needham who disappeared on the Greek island of Kos 21 years ago.
Editorial director Charlotte Cole acquired world rights in Ben from David Riding at MBA Literary Agents.
Needham said: “'I am writing this book so that as many people as possible will learn about Ben and his family, who still love him with all our hearts. He’s been raised by another family, he probably doesn't know his own name. But I know Ben is out there somewhere.”
Needham was at first suspected by the police for the disappearance, and had to endure early sightings and hoaxes.
The book will be published on 25th April 2013. All of Kerry Needham’s royalties will go to the Help Find Ben campaign.
