Keane follows Brookes to PanMac
29.09.10 | Charlotte Williams
Bestselling author Jessie Keane is following her former editor Wayne Brookes' move from HarperCollins to Pan Macmillan.
Publishing director Brookes signed up UK and Commonwealth rights (including Canada) in a three-book deal through agent Judith Murdoch.
Keane, whose previous titles include Dirty Game and Jail Bird, said: "I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Pan Macmillan and thrilled to be reunited with Wayne Brookes, who 'discovered' me."
Brookes said the aim is for the first of the three titles to be launched in 2012, "with a big fanfare for her first title at Pan Macmillan." Keane's next title with HarperCollins, The Make, will be published in January. HC then has one further book to publish.
