Kavanagh to new ALPSP role
01.01.70 | Katie Allen
Suzanne Kavanagh has been appointed to the newly created role of director of marketing and membership services at the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP). Kavanagh will take up the post on 16th July, reporting to chief executive Audrey McCulloch.
Kavanagh's most recent position was as partnership manager for publishing at Creative Skillset and she has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Routledge/T&F and Continuum.
In her new post she will seek to strengthen the ALPSP brand and grow its membership.
McCulloch said Kavanagh would “play a key role in ensuring that our membership continues to grow and that ALPSP members get excellent value for money from their membership fees", as well as "contributing to our professional development offering and continuing to raise the profile and membership of ALPSP internationally".
