Jewellery line for Maas novel
30.08.12 | Joshua Farrington
Fans of Bloomsbury’s young adult novel Throne of Glass will soon be able to showcase their love of the book by wearing jewellery inspired by it.
Rings, pendants and other items will be made available, based on items worn by characters in the newly published book, the first of a series written by American author Sarah J Maas.
Agent Tamar Rydzinski of the Laura Dali Literary Agency, licensed the deal.
Jewellery designer Janet Cadsawan, who is creating the pieces, has also designed tie-in jewellery ranges for the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead (Puffin), and the True Blood series, based around Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse novels (Gollancz).
The first piece of jewellery to be released will be the Eye of Elena pendant, which is worn by Calaena throughout the novel.
