Bonnier children's publisher Hot Key Books has become the latest publisher to join the boom in offering writers' courses.
Authors Celia Rees and Gareth P Jones, literary agent Eugenie Furniss and Hot Key publisher Emily Thomas will be course tutors on an inaugural two-day workshop to run in February.
The course will also include a dinner with tutors and Hot Key m.d. Sarah Odedina.
Thomas said: "The Hot Key Books team are delighted to be offering aspiring writers the benefit of our knowledge and experience, along with that of industry experts, on writing for the children's and YA market.
"We will be giving focused guidance on honing writing skills, plotting and characterisation, as well as conducting a 'guided tour' through all stages of the publishing process—from early manuscript to retail bookshelf."
