Hodder signs Ray Mears
07.02.13 | Charlotte Williams
Hodder & Stoughton has acquired the autobiography of outdoors expert and TV personality Ray Mears.
Hodder non-fiction publisher Rupert Lancaster bought world rights in the book from agent Jackie Gill, with plans to publish in September 2013. It is provisionally titled An Outdoor Life.
Lancaster said: "I've been working with Ray since we published his classic Bushcraft nearly a decade ago. I have huge respect for him as a trusted guide to the world of the outdoors and as a great communicator.
"We're delighted that he's chosen Hodder to publish his memoir, a story that will enthral his millions of admirers—and surprise a few people too."
