Headline signs second Corrie title
22.02.13 | Charlotte Williams
Headline has acquired an official "Coronation Street" book, chronicling the soap's pub, The Rovers Return, and the role it has played in the series.
Non-fiction publishing director Jonathan Taylor and publisher Emma Tait acquired world rights in the title, Coronation Street: The Rovers Return Story by Tim Randall, from ITV Studios Global Entertainment's newly-appointed head of publishing Shirley Patton.
Taylor said: "It is wonderful for Headline to be working again with ITV Studios and the ever-popular 'Coronation Street' brand, and The Rovers Return Story promises to be a fitting tribute to the legendary Weatherfield drinking hole, its residents and patrons, and the countless unforgettable moments that have taken place within its four walls."
It will be published in hardback and e-book this autumn. It follows the 2010 publication by Headline of Fifty Years of Coronation Street.
