Headline appoints Wordsworth to head SFF
11.10.11 | Charlotte Williams
Headline has appointed John Wordsworth to the role of commissioning editor, science fiction and fantasy, with Headline planning to build a "substantial" SFF list.
Wordsworth is moving from his position as editor at John Blake Publishing. He will report to Headline director of publishing Marion Donaldson, with the first titles on the SFF list due to be published in 2012.
Wordsworth said: "My first job in publishing was working in SFF, and I'm thrilled to be returning to the area. Headline has a fantastic team and I can't wait to join them."
Donaldson said: "I'm delighted John is joining Headline, with the aim of developing a substantial science fiction, fantasy and horror list. John's energy and passion are shared by the wider team, and we have huge ambition for this area of our publishing."
