Head of Zeus signs 'blockbusting' series
01.01.70 | Charlotte Williams
Head of Zeus has acquired three books by television screenwriter David Gilman, with the first to be published as a lead title for spring 2013.
Publisher Nic Cheetham bought UK and British Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, in the three historical adventure books, which will form the beginning of the Master of War series. The deal was signed with Isobel Dixon at Blake Friedmann. Book one, Wolf Sword, will be published in spring 2013.
Cheetham said: "Amid the carnage of the bloodiest conflict in medieval warfare, a young Englishman rises from longbowman to knight. David Gilman's Master of War launches a blockbusting series in a bestselling genre and will be a lead title for our spring 2013."
