Head of Zeus acquires six from C J Box
03.04.12 | Charlotte Williams
Head of Zeus has acquired the next six books by US author C J Box from St Martin's Press and Penguin US.
Digital publisher and deputy m.d. Nicolas Cheetham acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, in the titles, which are two standalone novels, three Joe Pickett series instalments, and an anthology of Joe Pickett short stories.
Cheetham said: "C J Box is going from strength to strength. In the last 12 months, he has established himself at the top of the US charts and as a number one UK e-book bestseller and he clearly has the potential to be number on on both sides of the Atlantic. We're delighted that he's decided to join Head of Zeus and look forward to spring 2013 and a blockbusting first outing under our new banner."
Last year, Corvus published the entire Box backlist, releasing one title every month.
