HC to hold ticketed "premiere" for Walliams title
30.08.12 | Joshua Farrington
HarperCollins is launching David Walliams’ new children’s book with its own "premiere".
Ratburger—the story of a little girl, Zoe, whose pet rat is under threat—is set for release on 19th September. A live event will be held on 13th September at Cadogan Hall, London, where Walliams will be in conversation with "Britain’s Got More Talent" presenter Stephen Mulhern.
Ticket holders (£8 for adults and £6 for children) will also have the chance to meet Walliams and buy copies of the book.
Walliams, who found fame alongside comedy partner Matt Lucas in their TV sketch show "Little Britain", has sold more than a million books in the UK, with his novels translated into 25 language, according to the publisher.
