Harvill signs two-book deal with Neville
16.02.12 | Charlotte Williams
Harvill Secker has signed a two-book deal with Belfast crime writer Stuart Neville.
Publishing director Liz Foley acquired UK and Commonwealth rights through Caspian Dennis of Abner Stein. Both the novels feature series character detective inspector Jack Lennon, with the first to be published in January 2014 and the second planned for January 2015.
According to the publishers, the first book, as yet untitled, will follow Lennon as he is dragged into a case of two brothers who, as children, committed a horrific murder and are now back on the streets. The second will feature a figure from his past.
Foley said: "It's extremely exciting to have two new novels from Stuart under contract. He is a real star on the Harvill Secker crime list and detective inspector Jack Lennon is a fantastic character who we can't wait to see more of."
