Harvill Secker buys new Nesbo
22.06.11 | Charlotte Williams
Harvill Secker has acquired another novel featuring inspector Harry Hole by bestselling Norwegian crime author Jo Nesbø.
Editor Briony Everroad bought UK and Commonwealth rights excluding Canada to Phantom in a one-book deal through Niclas Salomonsson of the Salomonsson Agency. The book is the sequel to The Leopard, and Harvill Secker will publish in spring 2012.
Nesbø's previous books include The Redeemer, The Devil's Star and Nemesis. Harry Hole, Nesbø's inspector, works in the Oslo Police Force, and often takes a rogue approach to cases.
Harvill Secker published The Leopard in hardback in January, with the paperback to follow by Vintage Books on 7th July.

I am definitely looking forward to more of her books, whether in print or as an ebook. I wonder if publishers will eventually set up their own ebook stores and distribute their books online themselves.
