HarperCollins to publish Fifty Shades-inspired lovers' guide
13.07.12 | Joshua Farrington
HarperCollins is attempting to help readers live out their Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired fantasies, with its own title Fifty Ways to Play.
The non-fiction book, subtitled A Beginner’s Guide to Unleashing Your Inner Goddess, has been written by husband and wife team Debra and Don Macleod, and promises to offer a range of ideas for spicing up sex lives.
Harper non-fiction editorial director Anna Valentine, who bought the UK and Commonwealth rights from Tom Dussel at Penguin US, said: “If you’ve read all about Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the bedroom, and want a piece of the action for yourself, then this is the book for you.”
Fifty Ways to Play will be published as an e-book on 19th July, with a paperback to follow on 16th August.
Fifty Shades of Grey (Arrow) has become the bestselling British novel for an adult readership since records began, selling more than two million copies in the UK.
