Harper enrols Military Wives

Harper Non-Fiction has bought a book from chart-topping choir, the Military Wives.

Made up of the wives and girlfriends of servicemen deployed in Afghanistan, the choir was assembled last year by Gareth Malone for a BBC2 documentary, and went on to have a Christmas number one.

UK and Commonwealth rights for the book, excluding Canada, were bought by Natalie Jerome, publishing director for Harper Non-Fiction, from Julian Alexander of L.A.W., acting for The Military Wives Choirs Foundation and Twenty Twenty Productions Ltd.

Published on 8th November, The Military Wives, Wherever You Are: Our True Stories of Heartbreak, Hope and Love, will raise money for the Military Wives Choirs Foundation, a charity which helps other choirs to come together through singing.

The book’s release will coincide with the release of their second album, 'Stronger Together'.
