Hammer signs up three novellas
01.01.70 | Katie Allen
Random House imprint Hammer Books has acquired “long short stories with a paranormal twist” by Melvin Burgess, Julie Myerson and Sophie Hannah, and scheduled each of them for 2013 publication.
Publisher Selina Walker acquired the three novellas, and said the stories were “haunting, chilling and unique". Walker acquired British Commonwealth rights, including Canada and with exclusive Europe, in the three works, through Caradoc King at A P Watt, Gill Coleridge at Rogers, Coleridge & White and Peter Straus at RCW, respectively.
Their publication follows that of ghost story novellas by Helen Dunmore and Jeanette Winterson.
