Head of Zeus has appointed Dan Groenewald as sales director.
Groenewald will join Head of Zeus from Phaidon, where he is currently head of UK sales and he has played what is described as a key role in developing the company's business, particularly into the non-traditional sector. He has previously worked at Faber, Magma, Foyles and Selfridges.
Amanda Ridout, c.e.o. and publisher of Head of Zeus, and a previous Phaidon managing director, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Dan to the team to work closely with our retail partners existing and potential around the world to bring more readers to our brilliant authors. At just over two years old we are looking forward to building on an exciting start with a very strong list for Christmas 2014 and beyond.”
Groenewald said: “I am very excited to be joining the team at Head of Zeus and am looking forward to representing this extremely strong and growing list of authors backed by a team with incredible energy and experience.”
Groenewald will start his new role on 1st October and will be contactable on Daniel@headofzeus.com.
