'Gone Girl' Flynn stays at W&N
03.01.13 | Charlotte Williams
Weidenfeld & Nicolson has acquired two new novels by Gillian Flynn, author of bestselling thriller Gone Girl.
Fiction publishing director Kirsty Dunseath bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Linda Kaplan and Molly Stern at Crown, on behalf of Stephanie Kip Rostan at Levine Greenberg.
Dunseath said: "Gillian Flynn is such an exciting writer and there has been a huge buzz about her talent from the very start. Her success has been phenomenal and is richly deserved. Each new book by her is a real treat-always surprising, deeply intelligent and stunning in the power she packs behind every word. We are absolutely delighted to be working with her again."
Gone Girl is published in mass market paperback today (3rd January), and will be featured in both the Richard and Judy Spring 2013 Book Club and the Waterstones Book Club.
