After six weeks of heavy campaigning from political parties, The Bookseller would like to gauge the voting intentions of the book trade with just 10 days to go before the polls open.
When the survey was first run in April after prime minister Theresa May first announced the General Election, the trade had swung behind the Liberal Democrat Party, thanks to its stance against Brexit, with 30% voting for the party, up from 20% when the survey was last run ahead of the May 2015 poll day.
However, the majority of the trade – 38% - still said it backed Labour (down from 46% in 2015), Conservative Party’s popularity had fallen among the trade: it’s backed by just 10%, down from 19% in 2015. Support for the Green Party has plummeted to 6% (from 13%), with the SNP taking 2% of the vote, and UKIP less than 1%.
Now the political manifestos have been released and with just 10 days to go, The Bookseller would like to find out if voting intentions have changed or remained the same.

The results will be published in The Bookseller on Friday (2nd June).
