Gallimard to stand down as SNE president
18.05.12 | Barbara Casassus
Antoine Gallimard will stand down as president of the French Publishers Association (Syndicat National de l'Edition, SNE) after two years in, the French trade publication Livres Hebdo has reported.
He is expected to be replaced at the SNE's general assembly on June 28 by vice-president Vincent Montagne, c.e.o. of Média-Participations, French comic book leader and France's fourth largest publisher in the Livres Hebdo ranking.
Gallimard, c.e.o. of Editions Gallimard, will no doubt have his hands full if the publisher wins against Albin Michel to buy Flammarion from RCS Mediagroup.
