Foyles in Westfield Stratford City to open in 10 days

Foyles' seventh branch, in Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, is due to open on 10th November.

The shopping centre site, situated near the London Olympic Stadium, opened in September but Foyles delayed its own opening until next week until the relevant building work was completed.

The store is located on the lower ground floor, next to Waitrose.

There to mark the new venture will be Australian television personality and singer Dannii Minogue, who will be signing copies of her new book Dannii: My Style. Guests to the opening will also have the opportunity to win one of the London dresses from her Project D collection if they email events@foyles.co.uk to reserve a place in the priority signing queue.

The new bookshop will also host a Foyles tombola on 11-13th November to mark its first weekend of trade.

Earlier this month Foyles announced it would close its One New Change branch when its lease expires in April 2012 to "free up resources" for the Stratford branch and recently opened Bristol shop.

Too late. 'Punctuation' should be spelled with a small 'p' after the colon.

Far too late: Foyles has, not Foyles have...
