HarperCollins has acquired a further four novels from author Amanda Brooke.
HarperFiction publisher Kimberley Young and editor Martha Ashby bought world English language rights from Luigi Bonomi at LBA in a deal that was finalised at the HarperCollins annual London Book Fair party.
The new deal will see Brooke published twice a year.
Brooke's next novel, The Goodbye Gift, tells the story of three best friends whose lives collide with a young woman waiting for a heart transplant, and the "tragic" accident that will change everything.
Young said: "Mandy writes stories direct from the heart that readers connect to on an emotional level. She is a joy to work with and we’re overjoyed to have the opportunity to continue to work with her."
Brooke said: "Writing two books a year is certainly a challenge, but it helps knowing that my publisher and editor have such faith in me as a writer and the stories I can’t wait to share with my readers."
Bonomi said: "Amanda Brooke is a real star – her novels deal with human family drama and emotion and it is no surprise to me that her sales are getting bigger and bigger, not just in the UK but across Europe. I couldn’t be more thrilled for her."
